Withdrawal Policy

1. Provider Structure

www.blendingmind.com is operated under the following legal entities:

• Blendingmind UK Limited (UK) – Provides 1-to-1 sessions, spiritual assessments, mediumship readings, sensitive/intuitive sessions, spiritual healing, private lessons, and online group courses.
• David Schiesser Sole Trader (UK) – Conducts B2B in-person courses on invitation of a course organiser. The contracting party is the organiser.
• David Schiesser Sole Trader Ireland – Conducts in-person courses exclusively in Ireland.

The contracting entity will be specified at the time of booking.

2. Consumer Withdrawal Rights (B2C)

A consumer is any natural person acting for primarily private purposes.

• You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving reasons.
• The withdrawal period begins on the day of contract conclusion.
• To exercise your right, notify the contracting entity via a clear statement (e.g., email or letter).
• Timely dispatch is sufficient to meet the deadline.

3. Effects of Withdrawal

• If you withdraw, all payments will be refunded without undue delay and no later than 14 days from receipt of your notice.
• Refunds will be made using the same payment method unless otherwise agreed.

4. Commencement of Service Within Withdrawal Period

If you expressly request services to begin within the 14-day period, you agree that:

• The service will be provided before the end of the withdrawal period.
• You will pay a proportional amount for services provided up to the point of withdrawal.

If the service is fully performed after you explicitly agreed and acknowledged the expiry of your withdrawal right, the right of withdrawal expires. Sessions within the 14-day period are to be paid proportionally or in full.

5. Exclusions from Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

• Fully performed services after explicit consent
• Individually tailored or customised services
• Digital content after download/streaming has begun
• Events or courses with fixed dates
• Contracts with businesses (B2B)

6. Session Recordings

• Sessions may be recorded for security and quality assurance.
• Recordings are not part of the booked service, are not shared with clients, are stored under UK GDPR / EU GDPR, and are only disclosed if legally required (e.g., court order).
• By booking, clients expressly consent; without consent, no private session takes place. Additional privacy rules apply.

7. International Customers

For customers outside the EU and UK, the mandatory consumer protection laws of the respective country apply.

8. Retreats, Deposits & Cancellation

In-person retreats: Fixed-date retreats include accommodation and related leisure services.

• No statutory 14-day withdrawal right for contracts with fixed-date leisure activities, including accommodation.
• Deposit: Non-refundable to secure a limited-capacity place; amount and payment deadline communicated at booking.
• Remaining balance: Payable by the date stated in the booking confirmation.

Cancellation by organiser:

• The organiser may cancel due to illness, insufficient participants, venue unavailability, or force majeure.
• All payments (including the deposit) are refunded if cancelled by the organiser.
• Organiser is not liable for additional participant costs (travel, personal arrangements).
