This packed retreat is truly magical. Over four immersive days, you will be fully supported as you deepen your connection with your spirit guides and helpers, strengthen your sensitivity, and develop confidence in altered states of awareness — all while benefiting from the combined experience, teaching styles, and guidance of both tutors throughout the retreat.

🔮 Experimental Sessions
These sessions will be woven into the retreat experience, where some students will have the opportunity to sit in the cabinet, allowing for deep trance work within a supportive, respectful, and well-held environment.

2. You will receive a confirmation email outlining the next steps, including a booking reference to book your hotel package.

4. You will be asked to pay a 50% non-refundable deposit on the package (£556.00), according to the Cober Hill Terms and Conditions. 
5. Once the hotel booking and deposit are confirmed, your space on the retreat is secured.

This historic Georgian mansion, set within a 1,000-acre estate, offers sweeping views of the surrounding landscape and the evocative lakeside ruins of a 13th-century Knights Templar castle. Take a tour.

There are places where the veil feels thin, where stillness carries presence, and where time seems to soften. County Sligo is one of those places.

An Tairseach – At the Edge of the Worlds is an intensive residential immersion, devoted not only to trance mediumship but also to broader mystical and spiritual exploration. The retreat has been carefully designed for participants who wish to work deeply within a contained, respectful, and finely held environment.

Held at the elegant and atmospheric Temple House, this retreat offers a rare opportunity to step away from noise and distraction, allowing trance to unfold naturally through silence, attunement, and gently supported practice.

Led by Colin Bates and David Schiesser, the week is structured with precision and care. Teaching is subtle and responsive, offering individual guidance within a small group, ensuring each participant is truly seen and supported in their development.

• All bedrooms are en-suite.
• Two shared rooms available (shared occupancy only for attendees who already know each other)
• The remaining rooms are single occupancy.
• Rooms will be allocated in the order in which bookings are received.

• Shared room: £1,595 / EUR 1,815 per person away (approx. 30 minutes away). 
• Single occupancy: £1,895 / EUR 2,155 per person

(Price includes breakfast, a two-course lunch, a three-course dinner, en-suite accommodation, and course fees.)

A £500 / EUR 600 non-refundable deposit secures your space, with the remaining balance due by 1 October 2026.

• Temple House Access:
  The main house has steps, which may limit access for some guests. Please inform us of any access or support needs when booking, so we can liaise with the hosts and accommodate where reasonably possible.
• Dietary Requirements: Please advise at the time of booking.
• Transfers: Not included.
  The closest airport is Ireland West Airport Knock (approx. 30 minutes). Dublin Airport is approximately 2–3 hours away.
  Once we know who will be attending, we can organise a group transfer.   
• Payment Plans: May be negotiated.
